The Cushing Police Department was created with three divisions, which complements our core services:
Investigative Services
The Investigative Division is staffed by one Master Police Officer who provides investigative support to our patrol division. In addition, the investigator also provides critical follow-up to serious misdemeanor and felony crimes.

Patrol Services
The Patrol Services Division is a 24-hour operation that is staffed using three shifts. Each patrol shift is comprised of four officers. The Patrol Division is managed by three sergeants and three master police officers.
Patrol – 3 Shifts – 4 Members Each
1st Watch 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
2nd Watch 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
3rd Watch 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
1 Canine Team
Support Services
(Communications Center, Records Division, Animal Welfare) - The support operations manager (civilian position), has responsibility for managing the 911 call center/detention operation, records management and the front reception/lobby. The 911 call center is staffed by five dispatchers who play a critical role linking police staff to citizens. Animal welfare is staffed by one animal welfare officer who is supervised by the day watch patrol commander.
